I’m Saadia Yunus, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR-certified trauma specialist, and founder of True Mind Wellness—a centre for excellence in mental health care. With over 12 years of experience, I work with individuals, couples, families, children, and teens, providing therapy that is deeply rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and evidence-based practices.
In addition to therapy, I serve as a motivational speaker, consultant, and community leader, dedicated to mental wellness and systemic change. Whether you’re facing trauma, relationship challenges, or emotional overwhelm, I offer a safe space where healing, growth, and clarity are possible.
Raised in Bonifay, Florida, I now live on Long Island, NY, with my husband, four children, and two cats. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me engaging with the community, mentoring young women, and sharing insights on mental wellness across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. -
