  • Hi, I’m Eman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in psychotherapy for adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and women’s mental health concerns related to infertility, pregnancy, postpartum challenges, and NICU experiences. My work is grounded in empathy, clinical excellence, and personal understanding.

I support individuals navigating emotional difficulties—whether due to life transitions, trauma, or complex health-related experiences—and help them uncover tools to heal, cope, and thrive.

    • Depression & Anxiety

    • Trauma & PTSD (including military and combat trauma)

    • Perinatal Mental Health (infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum, NICU trauma)

    • Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Survivors

    • Cognitive Impairments & Aging (Dementia, Alzheimer’s)

    • Severe Mental Illness (Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia)

  • I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and am a certified provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. I also integrate psychoeducation and a trauma-informed lens to help clients recognize maladaptive thoughts, reframe core beliefs, and improve relationships, self-worth, and overall functioning.

    • Certified in CPT for PTSD

    • Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

    • Specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International

    • NICU Family Advisor and Parent Mentor at Cook Children’s Hospital

  • My journey became deeply personal after the traumatic birth of my son, who spent over three months in the NICU. The isolation, uncertainty, and emotional toll reshaped how I understand and support families navigating similar experiences. That chapter of my life reignited my passion for clinical care, and I now help others through their own chapters of healing.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud wife and mother to a toddler who brings light to my world every day. I love cooking, baking, and cake decorating, and I cherish time spent with my family.
