Dr. Dominique Shabazz, DSW, LCSW, is a Connecticut-based therapist, professor, and consultant with over a decade of experience in clinical care and mental health education. She is the founder of a therapy and consulting agency, offers therapy and training for individuals and organizations, and brings a strong foundation in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.

  • I’m Dr. Dominique Shabazz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations through psychotherapy, education, and systemic change. I hold a Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut.

    My work is deeply rooted in clinical excellence, community engagement, and culturally responsive care. I currently serve as the Director of Practicum Education and Assistant Professor at Springfield College, where I mentor the next generation of social workers. Through my private agency in Connecticut, I offer therapy, consulting, and training services tailored to the unique needs of individuals and institutions alike.
